About The Author
Tami WeissI've had a lifelong fascination with fish, having kept them for as nearly as long as I could walk. My first experience with seahorses were dwarf seahorses ordered from the back of a field and stream magazine at age 12. It wasn't for another 10 years before I rediscovered my love of seahorses. I began keeping seahorse and pipefish in earnest; keeping, breeding, and eventually writing my about my experiences keeping them. My early work online includes acting as one of the administrators that help build and organize the infamous Seahorse.org. I've since branched off to my own project Fusedjaw.com with the goal of including all syngnathids and to broaden the focus from aquarium keeping to include topics such as conservation, diving, and research. I can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
